CPI receives Business Excellence Award
Consolidated Products, Inc. has been presented with the 2012 Mid-Sized Business Excellence Award by the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce. Presented each year as part of the Chamber's Pinnacle Business Awards, the Business Excellence Award is awarded to a company headquartered in East Tennessee or a company with significant presence in East Tennessee that has shown remarkable profitability, growth, and stability. Nominees must be recognized regionally, nationally, and/or internationally in their respective business sector and should have made significant investments in facilities and employees. Kirk Icuss, President of CPI, accepted the award at the Pinnacle Business Awards Gala on May 4th.

CPI Holiday Celebration
At this year's CPI annual holiday celebration, fun was had by the whole family. On December 11th, CPI hosted a holiday luncheon and open house for employees and their families to show off our facilities as well as all the new technology we have added this past year. It was so nice to see so many members of our CPI extended family in attendance and having a great time. Thank you to everyone who made the holiday party a huge success!

This year Consolidated Products partnered with a local non-profit organization to spread the holiday cheer. Youth Transitions, Inc. is a Knoxville-based organization that is dedicated to training high school students and young adults in special education programs for career opportunities in the food service industry. The students of Youth Transitions, along with some help from a few of our CPI associates, baked some delicious chocolate cookies from scratch and then worked together to package them in personalized cookie tins. The tins were then sent to many of our CPI customers and parters as a sign of our gratitude this holiday season. CPI thanks the students of Youth Transitions for their help in making this year's meaningful holiday gift a beautiful success.
